At a time when employers report an increasing mismatch between the skills required for their industry and those of the emerging workforce, the State of Indiana has sought to address this issue by including work-based learning as a graduation requirement for high school students. Talent Bound is EmployIndy's vehicle to provide the students in Marion County access to authentic career-connected learning experiences, leveraging EmployIndy's network of engaged businesses to provide engaging activities that increase informed decision making and develop critical skills needed to succeed in the future of work.
Indy youth and young adults actively pursue integrated academic and career experiences that empower them to follow career pathways that lead to economic mobility and future prosperity.
